Welcome to the Hawk's Reading Room internet blog site. This site will be used as an extension of the classroom for both English Language Arts and Social Studies. A “BLOG” is a shared on-line journal where members can read, write, post, or edit a shared journal on line. Please keep in mind that this is a public domain and can be read by not only fellow students, but other teachers, administrators, parents, and community members at large. For this reason, you should keep all postings "school appropriate" and put your best language arts skills forward; show off your best spelling and grammar skills and write in complete words and sentences. You will have at least one weekly required posting, but are free to post and respond to other posts as often as you like.

- Before submitting your post, proof read, proof read, proof read.
- If you use ideas or writings that are not yours, please give credit to the proper sources. This is necessary whenever you cite someone else's work or ideas, otherwise it is plagiarism.
